In our staff meeting today we had our "normal" time of worshipping and sharing something from God's Word. It was simply a brief word of encouragement about the trustworthiness of God's Holy Spirit to bring about what He wants to see happen through our efforts.
What followed though, was unusual in that we took the time to celebrate those specific things that God's Spirit is doing throughout our church. It's really great when people "let loose" with applause, verbal expressions and even shouts of affirmation and appreciation for the hardwork coupled with the amazing grace of God's Spirit that is resulting in such rich fruit throughout our community! (See I Corinthians 15:10) For me, it was a great way to start today!
